Steam sales budget

Do you set yourself a budget, and do you stick to that budget during the sales?

Over the past couple of years, I've set a budget of about £50, but always spend closer to £100.

I forgot about it and basically spent what I was willing to spend on world of tanks, as next week I'm buying a graphics card, however I managed to borrow £20 off someone and pay them back next month -_- So that is my budget, which isn't too bad, only want a couple of games.

i never intend to buy anything and so never set a budget, therefore when i buy loads i just hide in a corner and sulk.

Also so many people will say dont buy a game early on in a sale at x% off as it will come up in the end of the sale at a lower price. Thats normally just a load of bull im my experience and i even remember not buying games at the start expecting a bigger discount on a flash deal etc.

End of the day if theres a game you want what would you be happy to pay for it? If it comes up at or below that price then go for it

i set my self a budget of 0. i never look to buy anything. i always spend around 80 quid though =( i hate steam sales.

Don't have any budgets. But i try not to buy every game out there. Only play certain games. So if it ticks all the boxes then i will buy.

I do not have a budget, but I don't think there is any great amount of things that will appeal to me, we shall have to see what wonders the steam folks manage.

No budget as theres too many games I want, dreading it to be honest as I have other things I should be saving up for but I need new games and only buy during the Steam sales, the games I buy need to last until the Christmas sales.

£100 budget for me, not just Steam tho, that could be any site GMG, GOG, Steam, Origin, whoever is doing the best deals at the time.

I'm not going to set a budget, I trust myself not to spend too much on games I'm never going to get around to playing.

No limit, just sense.

Buying games I know I want/will play.

If anyone want to save a few £££'s don't forget about the 4 packs if you can find some people to split with you you will save yourself a few pennies

No budget, I just try to buy sensibly and stick to the games that are -75% or under £5. I normally end up spending somewhere between £70 and £120.

I often buy things that I wouldn't normally even look at and I have been pleasantly surprised with some purchases, so it's worth it to me.
