Steam Saved Games

Guys ,

Need to format my pooter , iam just backing up all my docs , and cant seem to find where my save games are for steam especially BC2 , any ideas , looked in my documents , could not see them.

Check c:\users\<name>\saved games

Most steam games saves are also in steam\steamapps\common\<game name> folder. Though if you have the space, backing up the whole Steam folder will save having to redownload it all.

Gonna be different game to game, though admittedly the majority will either be within the Steam folder somewhere, or within your own user profile folder.

HL2 saves will be "in the cloud" now

Not sure how many other games do it.

That's a fair point actually. A number of my games now, and not just Valve games, are showing Steam Cloud compatibility.

check if the games youve got are cloud support. im not sure if all games do actually.
but quite a lot of mine do
