STEAM + SPYWARE DOCTOR HELP

Hi guys need some help,
i have spyware doctor installed but every time i play a game on steam they dont boot.
No black screen like its trying to load or nothing but as soon as i shut down spyware doctor they run fine

I've tried looking in options for some thing like allow certain program but cant find any thing.
Any help would be great

If your anti-spyware thing is blocking Steam it can't be much good...

I'd just go get another one.

Any suggestions on a replacement ive only ever used spyware doctor up til now :S

Use Microsoft Security Essentials, then every so often do a scan with Spybot if your weary of spyware.

Already using MSE guys but that dosnt pick up half the stuff spyware doctor does,but that might be the problem lol :\
@ Maxilive would that be "spybot" search and destroy?

Yes

It doesn't run all the time it just scans your pc for nasties when you load it.
