Steam taken my money but i can't get/install the games ??

I just bought 3 games on steam and payed by paypal...

But steam crashed with saying it's to busy just after payment the paypal payment went through...and i don't have the 3 games i just payed for :mad:

And yes the paypal payment is saying it's completed..

I'm confused... You bought 3, it didn't work, so you bought another? lol

But nice one for fixing it!
 
Er, you sure? Tried restarting Steam or somet? Doesn't sound like something Steam would still do by this point.

But all you could hope to do is contact Steam Support and probably show proof of the purchase going through PayPal.

I thought maybe if i bought another game then it would finish the transaction (spelling:o) of the first three games that crashed just after the payment was compeleted...

And this idea worked....(guess i was just very lucky that it worked and i didn't have to message steam and wait days/weeks for them to sort it out :))
 
I think there's something wrong with their PayPal system, unless it's just me and you.
Before when I paid with PayPal, it took me back to Steam saying here's a receipt, do you want to go to "My Games" list, and the game is there instantly.
I bought a game last night with PayPal, it took me back to Steam, with the game still in my basket and not on my list.
I bought a Steam gift the other week and the same thing happened, I paid and the E-Mail didn't get sent through to the recipient for about an hour.
So when the game didn't show up in my account last night, based on the above, I left it for a bit and it showed up eventually.

Yes...that is what happened to me,It didn't go back to the steam receipt after taken payment by paypay and it left the games i just payed for still in the basket..
