steam transfer question

for some reason i have 2 steam accounts
one i use all the time, the other i setup and forgot about, then setup a new one thinking i didnt have one ?
is there any way to transfer the games off the one i dont use to the one i do use ?
its only team fortress and HL2 but id like to have them on new profile with the rest of my stuff
 
Mmmmm.... you could say youve gone to activate your serial and it says it has allready been used.

Then follow the procedure on how to prove ownership of a retail purchase. They may then transfer to your "proper" account.

If they question anything, just say you dont know whose that account is.
 
Write to Steam support. I am sure I have seen mention somewhere of merging two Steam accounts. I am going to do the same, I have one from aeons ago but I can't remember any of the login details which might prove a problem.

EDIT: Scrap this. I found the support doc. It states accounts cannot be merged. Bummer.

Best bet is to wait for an Orange Box deal on Steam I'd think. Hopefully not too long with the news over Portal 2.
