Steam under DDoS attack

Why? seriously what is the point in this.

I can understand it when it's an organisation that nobody likes or which acts in a completely unethical way, but as far as I'm aware Steam is fairly good for developers etc.

Even when this sort of thing happens to so called 'bad' organisations, it isn't done for any reason other than people acting like little ***** on the internet because they can.

Hell, it could be because Steam killrd off second hand PC sales, or it could be because mummy stopped breast feeding too early

basically anything that says ddos is just down or broke its the new excuse for it isn't working but we dont know why :D

Under attack by these nerds - https://twitter.com/DerpTrolling.

Betting as usual and from what i've seen from the LulzSec days that these individuals are most probably jobless and still live at home with parents. High possibility of some of them being Fedora wearing neckbeards and/or furfags/cross dressers.

Also didn't realise that Ddos = hacking nowadays.

Yeah it's the DerpTrolling guys.
They were also involved with the DDoS attack of every single game PhantomL0rd was playing (inlucding LoL NA/EUW/OCE servers, Dota 2 servers, Club Penguin, Quake Live and some others)

"Woo! Look at us! Were so cool! Yay, look what we can do! Aren't we cool kids, check us out, wooo! Yeah, screw you Valve, lolz! Wooo, yeah were amazing! Hahaha were so cool check out what we did lols. Now everyone on the internet will think were super amazing cool!"

Seems to be the standard reason why.
