Steam is getting prepped for a major overhaul next week. The upgrade will enable the digital content delivery service to provide a host of new features; the best of which is their new Guest Pass system. This system will allow owners of certain titles to extend a free trail of the game to their fiends. Other Steam enhancements include a new UI, background client updates, and enhanced Favorites functionality.
