Steam updates

Have there been any Steam updates released today?

My Steam is showing all my Source games needing updates but they're not updating. I've tried logging out and back in again, I've also tried deleting the clientregistry.blob but it still won't work, can't play CS:S either.

Last played CS:S about 6pm tonight and there were no updates to steam then.

Look at www.steampowered.com and the news section it always says there the lastest updates.

Just checked myself and the latest update was the 12th April

Are they set to auto update?

Found out all the Steam data was corrupted somehow, so I've had to delete Steam and all the games. Luckily I backed all my games up on to a couple of DVDs.

You could have just verified the cache for all the games, that would have fixed 'em up. =/

Tried that aswell, just showed everything as fine.

Anything else on the hard drive corrupted?

Nope, but I reinstalled Steam then copied over my games that I backed up onto a couple of DVDs and everything is fine now.
