It has come to our attention that there is another fake email which at first inspection appears to be from the Steam support team It claims that there is an issue with their database and states that you have to click on a link and update your account details to validate your account.

Please do not click on the link in the email

Just taken off enemydown.co.uk

Just a heads up!

-Neoni.

I never done that and still someone stole my account

They sent me a new password this morning, but the account is still disabled.

one of the first things steam ever said is that no representitive will ever ask for account details!

so why do dumb people give it out? if they fall for this sort of thing then they deserve it imo

I always ignore any emails that tell me to click on a link and update my details. I was go to the original source. Thanks for the heads up though.

My thoughts tbh.

If anyone asks me for details, I'll take 'em for a ride just to annoy them and take the mick.

Everyone should know by now that no company will ever contact you and ask for your user name and password.

hold on guys, are you saying that I shouldn't have given the guy who phoned from the royal bank of nigeria my credit card number??? He just said he wanted to check my account identity against his records?? It seem legit enough to me
