its very tempting ... but someone put a link to http://www.d2cdkeyshop.com/Street-Fighter-4.html the other day .. £8 which is even more tempting ... hmmm anyone used them before >?

Yes, me. Used them quite a few times and had no problems, obviously since its games for windows live, you dont have to worry about disk checks and what not, works 100% 
Right, finally downloaded, installed, and when I run the game it just crashes randomly after about 20 seconds.
Cant seem to find a solution for it on google.
Gona try updating graphics drivers, hope they make a difference.

Sorry to butt in, but Metalfcae Mark are you saying you have used d2cdkeyshop? Did you get sf4 from them? seems ridiculously cheap for sf4 compared to steam!
If it is really £8 and legit i will def buy it now

How does http://www.d2cdkeyshop.com/Street-Fighter-4.html work? You pay for the key, download the game elsewhere - file-sharing? - and log your legitimate key? Then rely on NoCDs or image mounts?
Ye basically, some are Ea downloader keys , which is basically the same as steam but worse.
I'm wondering this also. I have a controller laying around but a cup of coffee has made it all sticky
