So this issue cropped up after I flashed my new bios (F37b) on my Aorus Elite x570 board. I also disabled stuff I don't use on the board such as onboard audio and the ethernet LAN.
After this happening I re-enabled the ethernet LAN in case but that has done nothing.

I have renewed my IP, flushed DNS and reset the network through Windows multiple times.
Started Steam EXE with -tcp in the launch configuration and has not fixed it.
I reinstalled Steam, still not fixed.
Messed with the firewall...
I asked my brother if his Steam is working, yup no issues at all.

Everything else works fine on this system, Steam though... nothing.

I am at a loss as to what is the issue.

Anyone set port forwarding on the router?
The router has never been messed with (standard Sky)

Broadband hub.

Seen this thread but you already reinstalled steam. May be worth bookmarking in case one of the methods gets you out of the hole bud.
Working fine now.

I had to defrag my large storage HDD (8TB) I actually went to install Steam straight off the bat to it because the OS loads way too fast and my VPN does too and Steam loads quicker than the VPN meaning it won't automatically open in time for when my net is connected, so installin git to the slow HDD is of benefit here and just keep my Steam libraries on my SSD's.

The HDD was said to be corrupted by Windows and Steam would not boot as some DLL was missing in the installation folder although when looking in the install folder the DLL was there.

SSD's all trimmed and optimized and HDD defragged.
