steam / xfire - down?

Hey was wondering if anyone is able to connect to steam or xfire? Im unable to connect to either of them for some reason

anybody got any ideas of why i cant connect :S?

Its not the windows firewall as idisabled it and it still wouldnt work

Are you behind a proxy or firewall? Are any of your ports blocked?

I couldn't get onto steam either, but xfire has been working fine all day.

omg, i just tried again now,just before i go to bed

and steam has decided to work?

Nope. Nothing has changed, it was working the day before and is just not working now (last night at work now so can't test it).

Its either steam or my ISP (NTL). imo.

The fact some people on AOL and BT have had trouble suggests steam.

im on ntl as well. It seems to be ok this morning
