Hey everyone.

Steam has stopped working for me

Whenever it goes to launch, it takes a very long time and then I can't open it even though it is running.

First problem I've had with steam, I'd rather not reinstall and re download my games.

Any help will be awesome

When you say it stopped working are yo saying the application crashes or it won't connect.. You'll have to be a little more specific.

It connects, but then won't come up if that makes sense :/

It's running in task manager, but not responding.

It sometimes used to open "offscreen" for me as if it was there, but moved so far up that you couldnt see it anymore. I could fix it with a quick resolution change.

Can you right-click the systray icon?

it doesn't come up in the system tray :/ it's running, but not doing anything.

I had a similar problem with mine when I hadn't loaded it up for about a month. I think it was just 'catching up' with all the updates for games.

Try letting it load for 5-10 minutes and see if it eventually loads up. That worked for me, and then it loaded as normal after that.
