I have call of duty WaW and i would like to add it to my steam list, and benefit from the autopatcher. i add the game to the list. and when i enter my product code it just keeps saying its not valid?

Only some games (UT3, Empire TW, Valve games etc) support registering retail keys onto steam. Looks like WAW isnt one of them.

you have to buy it through steam, otherwise they'd just be sending you the content, for free

ok no worrys, guess i will stick to using gameshadow. Can i use microsoft games for windows live to do any updates?
