Ok my media centre had an OCZ vertex which has died.
Im going through the RMA process with it and may ask for a crucial M4 or C300.
Thing is my media centre streams full HD most of the time with files from 7GB to 20GB+.
Now with all the scaring going on about 25nm reduced wear rates I was thinking surely these streaming files are buffering on my SSD? or do they buffer into the systems memory?
Can anyone confirm as this will obviously affect whether I go for the M4 or the older 35nm C300.
