Steaming Tempratures ?!

Hey,

i built my new rig about 2 mnths ago and the Cores were running around 30c i noticed a couple of weeks ago on average they had rised. on average they run at about 40-44 a lot higher! and as am aware they should technically drop with the AS5 has set properly on the cooler?

any advice?

When's the last time you cleaned dust from the case, its fans, or the CPU heatsink itself?

Well i cleaned it 2day really.... av just installed a Zalman Zm-MfC2 fan controller but i wudnt say its that, coz i noticed it about a week ago. the Heatsink seems fine.... and fans are always on the go!

Have you taken ambient temps into consideration. 2 months ago we didnt really need the central heating on full whack.

You havnt put too much paste on there?

yeah i was finking about the paste, i myt have but i did follow instuctions but i didnt smooth it out myself i did a line of paste and let the sink spread it out, i myt take a look it they get any higher,

and yeah i started to crack my window open most nights for cooler air....
