G'day Folks, I would appreciate a little advice please on a 2 Phase build to replace my Antediluvian Opteron 2.21GHz / Rad X1900 rig.

Phase 1.

I have been eyeing up the "Steamroller AsusX99" bundle spec'd with an Haswell 5930
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 PC4-21300C15 2666MHz
Phanteks PH-TC14PE CPU Cooler - Black
Samsung 256GB SSD 850 PRO SATA 6Gbps 3D NAND

Phase 2.

Either an ASUS or EVGA GTX 780Ti post the 8*** series release , making do with the X1900 as a stop-gap.

I shall be Re building the rig into an Coolermaster ATC-110, However, my main concern and question.

Whilst not ideal would I get away with utilizing my existent PSU a Corsair 520W which I believe to be an Seasonic re-brand? for at least Phase 1 and may I still get away with my cheap-skatery with Phase 2 .

TVM.

Jasper.

I appreciate the advice Gents, my initial basket did indeed sport the 5820K with the difference going on either RAM or GPU.

However,

I find myself dithering now over perhaps aiming for an ASUS i7/4790 Rig, putting the not inconsiderable difference toward an soon to be released GTX9**
