All the Steelseries stuff is quality. I've been using a sample of the new ARCTIS HEADSET for a few weeks now and it's comfortable, sounds great and the chatmix dial is way more useful than i thought it would ever be.

I'm pushing for some stock before Christmas but I think it will be more like early January.

the only gripe i have with the siberia headsets is the 350 usb cable is quite short for my setup means plugging into front usb ports and not being able to use the rears for nice tidy cable management.

Haven't had an Arctis 3 out of the box so can't comment on that but the 5's Chatmix dial sits comfy on your desk and then the headset wire plugs into that so you have plenty of cable.

They are the same frame but the switches are Steelseries own and not Cherry switches. It is exclusive to a company in Denmark, however, DSG (PC World/Dixons etc.) where I'm guessing you got it from, own them as well.

I am typing on an M500 and it's a great keyboard :)
