Just a minor annoyance and I wondered if anyone else has had this problem or has a solution.
Changing the cpi (or any other setting) does not have any effect on the mouse in general - tried uninstalling/reinstalling interface drivers and so on.
It only works immediately on startup, once - any second change will not take effect until restarting. Led me to believe it was some driver conflict - I am using an asus xonar U3 which could be the problem, or the keyboard (noppoo choc mini - which I think pretends to be several keyboards in order for the unlimited key rollover).
Apart from that I have no idea what the issue is, but it is annoying when all you want to do is change the sensitivity of the mouse.
Edit: I just checked - changing pointer speed in the normal way works, so it seems the ikari laser driver is doing nothing.
Edit 2: Nevemind - I found out how to change the cpi directly on the mouse so have no need for the steelseries software anymore. Ignore.
