Hi

I recently bought a SteelSeries Rival 100 mouse. Which worked great for 2 days, then all of a sudden, It stopped working (no lights or lazar) it had been working perfectly the night before – didn’t drop or damage it. I’ve tried other ports and a laptop but nothing.

Anyone got any idea? (it was a plug and play mouse – I didn’t notice any drivers being installed – windows 10)

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, I did try plugging it into my wife's laptop, no response. I just can't understand how something can just stop working.

Did you have Steelseries engine installed on your laptop? if yes did it try installing new firmware on the mouse. That in the past has been known to brick them occasionally.

If no and it's just died get intouch with Steelseries for an RMA.

There hasn't been any firmware updates for the rival 100, as I got one a few weeks ago and the engine software didn't install any updated firmware that I'm aware of.
