Steelseries Sensei Wireless

Yep just received mine!

Very nice weight to it, glides beautifully with the OcUK XXL mousemat.

The charging dock is very solid and looks great!

This is my first wireless mouse in a long time so I can't draw much of a comparison. That said I've not noticed any lag or delay in BF4. I'm really happy with it.

Hay guys ! Thanx for the responses & glad its going OK for you both...

I guess people pay what they want for some things ? The standard Sensei goes for around £70 so an extra £50 does look on paper too much but if this is what it says it can be I can see why they up'ed the price ? Its also an entry price, can see it dropping off a few month after the full retail lunch (I would hope).

I had the Razer mambo & there was a lag to the movement, it was only a fraction of a ms but it was noticeable in a FPS & so much so it was sold off & my life with my Sensei still continues. I get fed up with the wire catching on stuff so this would be the next best thing.

How's the steelseries cloud based software ?

What's that silver bit made of between the buttons ? Looks metal but thinking its probably plastic...

Gibbo, when can we see this coming to OCUK ?

I think i'll stick to my Sensai RAW thanks :) I don't understand the need for wireless keyboard and mouse for a desktop system. Are 2 cables really that bad? Is it really worth the extra money for worse performance? The answer IMO is an easy NO.

I have a Raw too & like it but the need to loose wires will come to everything in the end. Some things work fine without wires...

I'm always pulling on my wire, does my head in when I can feel in my hand the braiding from the cable catch on my desk. Each to there own...

Worse performance ? Until I see the reviews or try one that is a statement that's not valid.
As for price you can buy many thing that are expensive & I agree £134 is a lot for a mouse, I've seen online they are as low as £101 so fingers crossed they will drop...

Well after reading some users forum reviews it does seem to have the lag that plagued my Mambo. Looks like I'll have to put up with my wire :(

I find it amazing that mice and keyboards find it so hard to be wireless, yet we've had wireless gaming pads on consoles for years, and no one has every complained about lag using those!

Why is it so hard to make a good wireless keyboard and mouse >_<

I agree ! From what I read from the users is its only ms but enough to be noticeable in fast FPS game. He did state that if you anything other it won't have a impact in game...

I guess we will have to wait for the next tech that offers full speed without wires... Such a shame as I really wanted this to be floorless in regards to zero lag ?
