Couldn't find where to post this but I got one today for christmas and since installing the steelseries engine program that I needed to install, my pc has been crashing. 2 BSOD and 4 regular crashes just since installing steelseries engine. I have no idea what to do to fix it, if I uninstall the program the mouse stops working entirely, has anyone had a similar problem or have this mouse? Not sure what to do, tempted to send it back at this point but I love the mouse so far, looks/feels good, but I can't restart my pc 8 times a day just to use it.
 
You shouldn't have any issues, and it should still work if you uninstall the software - as even just the default Windows drivers should be fine.

What version of windows are you on?

I'm on Windows 7 - installed fresh today - and haven't even installed the Steelseries software as I already have my selected profile on there, and everything works correctly!
 
win7. as soon as i plugged the sensei in the for the first time it didnt work, only worked after I had downloaded the program. Then tried uninstalling it and it stopped working again, not sure why then. Really annoying.
 
Which driver version are you using?

I have the same mouse and it has not caused me any of these problems, though the driver does fail to load around one in thirty boots.
 
Just this minute updated mine to the latest Version: 2.6.2760.

No problems. Might be worth trying booting into safe mode and using the driver updater.
