Steelseries Starcraft 2 Peripherals

I see your apm warning and raise you a *base under attack* indicator, also necessary on a mouse, because looking at the minimap just aint enough ;)

The real key to being a pr0, look anywhere except the screen :p

This seems to be the case. At least Razer/Steelseries are showing there support for the game this might mean some big tournaments.

Well it's not the first game to have its own merchandise associated with it, but the really important thing is sponsorship. If Razer/Steelseries throw some money and products towards funding the competitive aspect of the game, then that'll contribute to its validity and longevity in eSports.

Until then, then all they've done is release a keyboard/mouse to be bought by id-...i mean people with lots of money, who think it'll turn them all into the next Boxer :p

Of course Alex74 these products are all aimed at that market with no doubt. I'm just glad to see something rather then nothing. Anything which encourages the pc market as a whole is a plus for me.

Fair enough, and just Alex is fine :)

I guess there's nothing wrong with the concept of it. I mean if people can get Manchester United t-shirts or Andy Murray tennis rackets, then why not have Starcraft 2 keyboards and mice..

One day i'll post a picture of my keyboard and mouse, cannibalised bog standard Dell keyboard and a well worn terrible 'compucessory' mouse (whatever that is) :p None of this '9600 dpi' high accuracy stuff :D

maybe that's why i'm so bad at SC2 :p

I think there is actually a nice middle ground where you can find some good products that carry the logo of merchandise gaming gear but certainly do improve certain aspects of a gamers experience. Unfortunately the APM fail its ridiculous I cannot defend it. Imagine a korean using the Razer gear with the led feature on.

We'd go blind from the sheer power of their mighty APM :D

Haha, I think if Jaedong and Flash play they will be able to power a solar power station, that way we wouldn't have a power cut ever again! xD

On a more serious note, yeah it's great that all the potential sponsors get involved before the game even goes live, but it's also nice to poke fun at some pretty lame-ass peripherals. Anyone that listened to Day9's campfire story will surely appreciate that Timmy must have gone and bought both the Steelseries and Razer products :D
