Steering too light

Not sure how best to describe this, lately I've been feeling the steering in my car is far too light. I'm not sure if it's recently developed or if I've just gotten that use to the car that I've started noticing the smallest things. The steering on the clio is suppose to be light and generally overpowered but my turning is so light it almost feels wrong, if that makes sense? My tyres seem to be fine.

Also got into the car tonight and the lights flickered a couple of seconds after I turned them on.

As for the light steering, I would get you tracking checked as this can sometimes make the steering silly light.

Ridiculously light steering seems to be a feature of modern supermini's. Seems like an odd thing to 'start noticing' though.

Lately I've been finding my steering too be much lighter when its cold, not icy, but on rarely used roads in the suburbs that have been in the shade all day. (Maybe they are a bit icy
