That little table might wobble a bit but would probably be fine to be honest. As long as you can get your legs through the middle comfortably.
add some more cross Legs to give it more Strength and something Heavy to go under the bottom length off metal or bar etc.

mate made one off his own which kept dropping apart now he has the Metal frame one advertised above.
Nah, the driving force pro (its predecessor) has been discontinued, the driving force GT is still very much in production. It's the wheel that was designed for GT5, so i doubt they'd discontinue it before the game's even released
On the wheel-stand front, I use a cheap, crappy fold up table and it's perfect for the job.

Bit rich for me, but thanks for suggesting. Willing to pay up to around £70, it's only for a mess around really. Had a cheap wheel once (£25 mark...), wasn't impressed, and just wanted to try with a slightly better wheel.
Dunno then Dyson. What i will say is every time i use my driving force pro i'm blown away by how good it is and apparently the GT is better in every way. Even if it is discontinued, you'll be getting the best wheel on the market for that price point.
Cheers mate, will just keep my eyes open. I can get it for £80 from argos, but I've got £70 in my head as a maximum.
