Due to Project Cars demand, racing wheel stock in the UK is pretty much zip.

still nothing sadly

thrustmaster basically have zero stock of anything worth buying in the whole country at the moment which is making my job a royal PITA currently.

I am trying my best to get them still.
 
I am keen to grab a TX Racing for myself as I can see the T500RS as being overkill for my needs but the pedals are arguably the weakest part of them.

TM have a pedal set on the price list with a clutch pedal that looks more substantial, sort of a half way house between the TX racing pedal set and the T500RS pedals.

but again, no UK stock...

The TX racing is as good as the t500 rs in terms of the ffb and base unit. The stock wheel is fairly crap and plasticy compared.to the t500 but can be swapped out.

The pedals are the main letdown of the set but they do the job and again are compatible.with the upgrade pedal set that we will hopefully have listed soon.
 
the T300 is off sale at the moment because there is no stock in the UK and no eta for it either.

of both the standard and GTE versions.

this is what stock in the channel shows, it is a website that shows how much stock distribution has.

to an extent yes.

with that I managed to get a fair amount of stock.

for this i have been very busy with other projects which meant we were sadly unable to get allocation.

that said, the t300 has basically been in stock once at UK distribution since it has been released.

price increase and delay of ETA for the t500RS

imagine being one of the largest steering wheel peripheral suppliers in the WHOLE WORLD and not having any stock around the launch time of the BIGGEST RACING GAME RELEASE IN 3 YEARS.

well

im gonna do something i dont often do

our buy price on this sku has increased significantly over the past year.

so much so that we have actually just piled marketing money into the cost to allow us to hold the price.

this has now ran out along with the stock.

the next batch will be here at a much larger landed price than we were paying before.

I am doing everything in my power to get this sku back to 350 again.

in terms of quality though, the g27 and the t500rs are not even in the same league. it really is twice as good, but you have all been spoiled by low RRP on that product for so long.

G27 has gone down in price too from 280. so g27 goes down, t500 goes up. gulf is bigger which will impact perceived value.

t500 is still the best retail available wheel.
 
no, they were perhaps confused with another model.

I am the product manager for peripherals so I know exactly what is happening with them.

still no eta on the t300 as yet.

I'd contend that... based on the quality of the T300, which is excellent and virtually the same wheel as the T500. Apart from the pedals, which are minus a clutch and on a cheaper feeling base (pedals are still metal though)... but if you attach them to something like the Wheel Stand Pro (also excellent btw), there isn't much you can complain about. I'd only make a case for the T500 if you have a shifter and must have a clutch pedal... otherwise T300 all the way. Just a shame you can't get it in the UK!! :(

the base is very similar in feel but the quality level of the T300 and TX Racing pedals are vastly inferior to that of the T500 unit.
 
I would like to yes. Unfortunately Thrust master has zero stock of anything useful in our region at the moment. What there was, I bought and it sold here within 3 days.
 
june is what i have been told but I am not making anything official on here just in case they let me down.
