Hi, I recently had a T150 delivered but I've ended up very disappointed with this wheel.
I've made four attempts to get it to work properly but can't. That's fresh installs of the drivers from the Thrustmaster site, The firmware's upto date so that was fine and the install procedure is simple enough but the force feedback is completely borked, The only way it's playable is by turning force feedback off so it's going to have to be returned.

I've decided to not cheap out and order one of the better wheels and am looking at these so I'm interested in owners experiences with them.

With the T500 not in stock I'm thinking about one of the two T300's so I'm interested in the differences and whether I'm better off sourcing a t500?

Thoughts, Suggestions?

With the T500, you get more powerful, but less refined FFB than the T300's brushless motor. You also get much better pedals, but you also have fixed paddles which may or not be your cuppa vs those that rotate with the rim.

As for the T300 choices, I'd take the GTE, as the buttons are much more usable - especially if/when you get around to adding your own rim to replace the stock one.
(I've had the PS4 rim, as well as the GTE/599 base FWIW)

Ideally, and if your budget permits, I'd look around for the T300 Integral package, which has the 599 rim + T3PA pedals.

I'll do that thanks, It seems that Thrustmaster have stopped production of the T500 set up and I did want a 3 pedal set up preferably.

Have you tried the Logitech at all?

Not since I had a DFGT a good while back, which isn't that far off a G27/29 in terms of feel.

T300/T500 are definitely better than the G29 (smoother, quieter and more powerful etc) not that it's a bad wheel or anything.
It's good for the money and comes with decent pedals.

Okay thanks, It's the extra pedal that has me thinking about the G29 but I just realised there's no gearstick which I think the older G27 had so I suppose it'll be best to go TS, Thanks again for the input.

the thrustmaster gearstick (seporate expensive) is rather lovely and phyisical, g25/g27 gearstick feel very toy like after it :p

ffb is a lot based on game and settings, so lfs, reiza games, iracing and ac should feel good when u put the right settings on.

there are demos / free of formula truck, game stock car, http://store.steampowered.com/app/359800/ is a limited full game fore free

The TS shifter does look nice and is planned hence why I'd like a 3 pedal base, I noticed that game before too, I may install it once I have the set-up built.
