Stellaris is FREE to play for 5 days and 75% off

I downloaded it and had a go... I'm totally swamped as it is my first time with a game like this (usually FPS and racing games for me). Any times on to make it more manageable?
 
Make sure you click full tutorial mode at the begin of the game and then follow the situation log. I was in the same boat!

So that is actually playing it and just a finite tutorial? That makes me feel a little better, as I didn't want to put time into a tutorial only to start from scratch with the "real game".
 
I am still getting to grips with it. Watching a few plays on youtube as I would rather pick up tips that way than be guided by that tutorial.
The game seems incredible tho! Really enjoying my time in it and discovering all the complexities it has. Have already found a few bugs tho which is a shame as they are documented on reddit a log time ago and still exist.
