We’ve just bought a new house which is ‘a bit of a project’ and I’m going to be spending a lot of time up a step ladder filing and sanding Victorian coving. I have an ancient set of wooden steps that sadly started to fall apart tonight so I’m in the market for a new set, what would people recommend they need to be about 6ft talk to give me easy access!

They look great but not sure I can justify the extra cost!

Thanks all this place is as always a great source of information, think I’m going to go with the Werner 6 step I linked earlier as my primary need right now is prepping and painting high Victorian ceilings and in particular decorative coving but I might well add one of these flexible platforms as well they look particularly suited to painting picture rails and the like.
