Discovered purely by accident after glancing at his Wikipedia entry.

Probably best known for his role as Vir Cotto in Babylon 5, sidekick/aide to Ambassador (later Emperor) Molari of the Centauri.

Only 63 which is no age at all - bio mentions complications from diabetes as the cause of death.

Following on from the death of Jerry Doyle last year, B5 seems to be leaving a rather grim trail of deceased stars in its wake (though I guess not entirely unexpected when you consider the startling fact in 2018 it's 20 years since the 5th season wrapped).

So RIP.

Another one passed beyond the rim:(

I don't think many of the original primary cast of B5 are left now, it was probably my favourite 90's TV series in part because Furst and Katsulas as Cotto and G'kar had such a great chemistry on screen as the two rival ambassadors and brought their characters to life.

I don't think I ever saw Furst in anything else, which thinking about it surprises me a bit as he was so good in B5.

I think you're confusing Furst with Jurasik, Vir was Londo's aide.

That said, they were all fantastic actors and had on screen presence and chemistry many shows can only dream of.

arh, you're right! (I'm terrible at names usually)

Vir was great as well, playing the slightly naive (to begin with) aide.

Thinking of it, pretty much all the core cast were very good.

Finally got my wife to watch the entire series with me at the start of the year despite not wanting to.

Had great satisfaction as we finished Sleeping In The Light to look over and see her sobbing her heart out. :D
