I'm about to return my motherboard but I want to know what do I need to deactivate/uninstall to ensure the least level of stress when I get my new motherboard?

I have already deactived my Adobe CS4 software, but do I need to uninstall office 2010 and the motherboard drivers and utilities?

Any other advice would be welcome.

depends on why you are returning it and what you are getting instead.

If it's a faulty board and you are swapping it for a working version of the same board then typically you won't need to do anything at all other than make sure that the replacement board has the system time correctly set before booting into Windows.

I've done a motherboard swap without uninstalling anything and it's worked fine (eventually)
I would recommend a full reinstall of windows though.
