Got my YBR today :) so happy but when it arrived getting it up the steps (1 and 1/4 of a step really) wasn't all that easy. I was looking for a ramp thing but all I've seen are ones for loading it into a van and wheelchair access ones. Obviously I don't need anything that big so I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions.

Love my bike, need to hurry and get on with my cbt :)

If you do the cheaper route, how about getting hold of some rubber or old carpet and nail it to the underside of the plank, should catch onto the steps enough to stop slippage.

But wazza's link is good, not the cheapest option but built for that use. So you know it will 100% hold the weight.

I was gonna get a ramp for my ybr, but i have 3 steps that are quite steep, and the thought of pushing my bike up that put me off.

2 red bricks (or 4) and a paving slab (can get long short square etc slabs)

Heavy enough to stay inplace, grippy enough and cheap!

I have 2 red bricks flat under a paving slab and get my bike in which weighs over 240kg wet. :D

Just cut a couple of pieces of wood into triangular shapes that fit between the steps to turn it into a slope, Cost Nothing & they are easier to shift about.

2*4 and a 1 foot square chunk of ply, make little ramps. it's what i use. to get up the curb and into the garden. i can take pics if you need. but it is that simple.
