I've just got myself an old Escort to run about in and just remembered about the subwoofer, 6 x 9's and amp in the loft I had when I was 17.
So I've made a list of what I need to get going again, can anyone think of anything that I'm missing.
Also I want to put the speakers in the parcel shelf but still want to be able to take the shelf out occasionaly and also take the subby out of the boot some times, I've searched car audio direct but can't see any speaker cable connectors do they exist?

My list:
Pioneer DEH-P4800MP
3.5mm MP3 Aux Jack Cable
ISO connector Ford Escort

Ford Fascia Adapter.

Amp Power cable
Inline Fuse
Inline Fuse Holder
Amp and Sub earth cables
Power on cable from HU to amp
RCA cables from HU to AMP
Speaker cables from amp to speakers/sub

Just use banana plugs male to female connectors on speaker cable for quick removal. But you'll also need something similar but larger for power cables and earth's to amp and sub. On the cheap you could just use crimped bullet connectors for the speaker cables.

Thanks pinkaardvark.

I don't think I need a ford facia adaptor as I just had a go at taking the old unit out and it's a standard DIN sized ford head unit, the new one should slot straight in.
Got everything else except a subwoofer earthing cable, I'm sure I just used to connector it to the speaker outs on the amp?
I'll get some bullet connectors for the speakers, just trying to find somewere that will sell me half a dozen male and female and not 100 of each.
