Stereo Headset + Mic

My medusa's are falling apart, so im thinking of buying a new X-Fi sound card and headphones to go with. However i keep hearing Stereo is the way to go, can some on recommend me a pair and how good are some of the detachable mics? I need something that is very good at canceling background noise and is brillaint for TeamSpeak and ventrilo!

Fantastic for CS and ventrillo, the mic that pushes in and pulls out is fantastic. love the headset. However having used Sennheiser's i have a few gripes.

If your clumsy like me and leave the headset on the cable and trip on the cable so the headset falls. then the plastic around each band will crack, its cracked on both sides on mine very easilly. Though still works as it should for now.

Comfy but not quite sennheiser comfy if you know what i mean. But i like the detachable extender cable.


Or an alternative and the best imo is to buy a pair of sennheiser headphones and get a mic to put around your neck.
