Hi all,
I've got a problem thats driving me nuts. I bought an old Peugeot 106 which had a stereo/cassette player in it. Not actually owning a single cassette I went forth and bought a Ministry of Sound CD/MP3/SD player. I took out the old unit (which I must admit worked perfectly well) and fitted the new one in. I had to buy an ISO convertor as the Peugeot connectors didn't fit. That also entailed a quick switch of the red and yellow cables to ensure that it remembers my presets. "Excellent!" I thought to myself.
Driving to work though I came into some fog so I switched on my lights and, voila, my stereo goes off. Completely. Quick testing revealed that when I turn on my lights (side or dipped) the power to the HU is cut. Turn the lights off and the HU can be started up again. Any ideas how to solve this? I have had a look at the back of the unit and everything appears to be connected fine. Only one lead isn't used (for a non-existnt power aerial). The old HU used to work with the lights on so I'm a bit stumped.

Cheers for any help

Chris
