This thread is the place to post about how great Steve Buscemi is, the actor seldom cast a leading role, but still managing to shine. From Fargo through to The Big Lebowski, including such greats as Con Air, this is the place to tell each other how much Buscemi rocks.

he does seem to plough his own path, which is not that easy in the film industry.
Isn't he the contract hitman in the film ''Things to do in Denver when your dead''?

All hail Stevey-B!
Great in airheads, made that Bruce Willis asteroid film watchable and is just generally fantastic.
And Mr. Pink!!!

The man is a god!

A couple of films that he is also worth watching in are Animal Factory and Desperado alongside the other named ones above :) If you want to check what else he has been in here is the IMDB link. I'm always glad when I see his name on a film as he is one of a select few actors who always seem to improve any film they appear in.

I'll second that.

He adds that 'alternative' aspect to his roles, probably because he's a little bit wierd looking. One of my personal faves and one of the best 'supporting' actors around.

Has anyone else seen a film called Trees Lounge?

I caught this really late one night on TV and loved it, but haven't ever seen it in a shop to buy. I think I'm gonna go see if you can buy it in No competitor talk please now actually thanks to this thread!

And as far as he goes, yes he's fantastic. One of my favourite actors I think.

One of his best IMHO has to be Airheads.

Buscemi Rocks man.
I agree with this man!
Dont forget him in Billy Madison, that nutcase:D
And Escape from new york and con air and etc etc etc.
Such a legend.

I thought he was pretty darn good in season 5 of The Sopranos, plus he directed the great Pine Barrens episode from season 3. :)

OI NUTTER!!!

One of the funniest actors around tbh.

Superb in most things he does - even if it's just a small role. Does a lot of uncredited roles as well, which is surprising.

Steve Buscemi is one of my favourite actors.

Reservoir Dogs, Mr Deeds, Desperado and Armageddon (where he plays his best type of role - a crazy dude) are favourites that spring to mind.

...Armageddon...

I won the Westinghouse prize when I was 12, big deal. Published at 19, so what. I got a double doctorate from MIT at 22, Chemistry and Geology. I taught at Princton for two and a half years. Why do I do this? Because the money's good, the scenery changes and they let me use explosives, ok?

Woman with large breasts... woman with medium breasts...This one looks like you... with breasts.
