Stick or Twist ?

let us know how that cooler turns out, i read up on it and it seems impressive and I might even take the plunge since it can be used on multiple sockets in case i upgrade.

If you want to keep your PC as quiet as possible, i suggest looking into fans which support PWM, or put simply, they only crank up when your computer starts to work hard. They require a 4 pin fan header, so not all motherboards support them. They are pretty decent though, my computer only starts to make itself heard when i do tasks such as encoding video or gaming.

Timefalls - Gaming and encoding (well, photoshop filters a lot) are what i mainly use my rig for, so will be getting used heavily. And when not running that am either Folding or Seti crunching, so pretty much maxed out on CPU time.

Creed - if the Noctua's do what they are suppsed to do, then see it as a good investment.

Yuri - Sorry but wont be able to report back on the cooler until late december as am away from teh UK with work until then. Have used watercooling before and the temps from it are good. Went back to air after my last upgrade as when i reseated the waterblock, it developed a hairline crack in the acrylic casing that didnt sho as a leak until 3 days later. Cunnigly, i had been away with work for 2.5 days of that, so ended up with a very fried mobo. Fortunately, the GFX card and CPU are still going strong
