I have a system with 8gbs of 1600mhz ram, that is only stable at 1066mhz, would you replace the ram with another 8gb of ram that was stable for around £200?

I have an i5 oc at 3.4, leaving the ram 1020, is the 580mhz worth 200 quid just for gaming frames per second?

Your settings are probably wrong or the motherboard/CPU just doesn't like that high of a frequency. On die memory controllers vary from chip to chip
