Stick with Audigy2 or go onboard?

Hi, another question from me

Just purchased the Asus A8N Premium SLi and was wondering if I would be better of using the onboard sound instead of my ageing SB Audigy 2 card? I would like to free up the PCI slot down there so it's less cluttered.

I run a logitech 4.1 surround speaker setup (can't remember the model but it's the one with the massive sub lol).

Would i be better of using the onboard sound? is it better quality than the Audigy 2? Whilst good sounding games are quite important i'm no audiophile, as long as i get the directional stuff and it sounds ok thats great.

using the audigy will recude the amount of cpu usage, so worth it in my opinion. so you get better fps.

I very much doubt that the quality on the onboard sound would be better than the audigy 2. Some correct me if I am wrong.
