Lately I've been considering a jump up in graphics card. I already have a pretty decent 7870 but I just feel like my frames are a little low a times.

I'm tempted by all the nvidia cards but are they good enough to warrant the price and the swap? Also I hate catalyst control centre so unless its a really good card I would prefer to leave amd cards alone

Thanks :)

I had considered xfire but i prefer one good card over two not running at full... catalyst annoys me because it has a mind of its own and the driver issues so far have driven me crazy :P
and i wish i had the money for a 780ti but unfortunately i don't :P i was thinking around 300 for a new card

If you want to move to the Nvidia side I would hold off and save a little more so you can get a 780 at least. I don't think you would see enough of an increase on your current card for the Nvidia stuff under £300 i.e. 770.

okay that makes sense, thanks very much for your help :)
