Hello guys.

Just wondering, how do you clean your keyboard keys? Of late my keys have been a little sticky and so has my mouse. I suspect the one evening where i had burger king and couldn't resist replying to a MSN message where the stickiness occured. Damn the fries. I've used a tissue and just wiped the keys but it doesn't quite cut it. Its so fustrating as I hate the stickiness. My mate recommend's facial tissues from Boots. But i'm a little worried that it may destroy it. My keyboard = Microsoft Reclusa.

What would you recommend chaps or what do you normally do.

regards,
SAmmy

Use a screwdriver to gently ease the keys off and clean the keyboard with a damp cloth or antibacterial wipes.

Always best to take a picture of you're keyboard first so you know where the keys need to be placed back.

Oh and next time, use a sock. ;)

Take the keys out (picture first as above is useful) and just soak the keys in a bucket of soapy water, then leave them on a towel to dry of use a hair dryer on a low setting to get it done quicker, then just wipe the keyboard itself down with cloth or wet wipes.

This is what I do at least, works well.

I have the same keyboard, havent had to clean it yet.

My last MS one could be taken completly apart via the screws on the back, all the keys came off as a seperate peice.

Just submerged that in water and left it in the airing cupboard for a few days.
