Hi. Well as some of you might no I have had an issue with graphics on my PC. Main problem is when I am still and camera not moving in games the objects look jaggy but when camera moving the objects go smooth. Also when camera still and then start moving the game would dim and go bright. In the end I was also getting boot manager failed on starting my PC. My old PC was

Sony bravia KDL32 703. 32". Cant remember full name
Intel i7-3770K
Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H
Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8GB Kit
MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670
Sandisk Extreme 120GB Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200Rpm
Antec P183
LG GH24NS90
Noctua NH-D14 Cooler
Antec High Current Pro HCP-850
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

I have bought another but kept the I7 and memory and SSD and also a new monitor.

Now I have.

Asus H61Mk motherboard
Asus strix 970 GTX
Asus VG278HE
Corsair HX750i

The dim and brightness issue has stopped but the jaggy edges and smooth edges still remain when moving or stood still as said and the flicker is still there but not as much. Could it be the case of the drivers as other people are having similar issues as well as AMD users as well.

At least now though I can have all graphics on in games on ultra as be for I was getting bad slow downs or screen tearing but non of that now. It just this object that looks jaggy then smooth was is making it games look not as good as it should. Anything that could help this jaggy edge and the od flickering?. Oh input lag has gone too as I was getting really bad input lag which again I think was something to do with mobo dying.

Flickering maybe monitors refreshrate.

Im very sensitive to a monitor at 60hz which gives me eye strain but anything above is fine.

Jaggies sounds AA Related, needs to see screenshots of what your talking about if
Honest

Could be something to do with the TVs post processing. Make sure all the motionflow and blur reduction settings are off and that it is set to game or PC mode if possible. Some TVs just don't work well with PCs no matter what you do.

Hi. Now though I am using my new monitor. Ive tried all the hz from 60hz to 144 hz and still does the same in every game. As you say it does look something to do with AA not working properly as it should. It did this on my old TV as well and old hardware. How ever on my MSI670GTX it didn't do it. Probably just NVidia rubbish drivers and going to have to live with as some others experiencing similar problems with bad flickering with the 970GTX.

How do I check if its a 1.1 Pixel Mapping?.

Also how do you enable Nvidia lightboost as on mine its greyed out.

Thanks.

Are you using HDMI? I find using HDMI gives me crazy jaggies even when I used my 360 via HDMI the difference when I switched to VGA was a lot better
