Hello, firstly let me say that i am in the process of gathering more information at the moment:)

I was getting BSOD's a few weeks ago that were i believe down to my GPU drivers. I have since reinstalled windows and they have gone, however this morning i got a BSOD out of the blue whilst i was browsing with the message SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION.

Some googling lead me to believe that it may be a problem with memory, so i downloaded and ran Memtest. About 20 minutes in to Memtest i had another BSOD, this time with the message INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR.

Does this mean that it is likely a problem with a memory stick? What should my next step be?

I should add that i installed the memory in my system about 2, maybe 3 months ago.

Also, what is the best way to get the info i need to sort this? I have literally never had any hardware problems before, but then years ago i used to just get pre-built.

Thank you:)

It is a 965be overclocked. Here is a pic of everything i did when i first oc'd it. Also it is using an Antec Truepower 650w with a 6950

I have since changed the RAM from 4gb of xms3 to 8gb of the Kingston HyperX Blu. I ahven't adjusted memory timings as i wouldn't be sure what exactly i was doing:o

I built the system in Jan and have had no problems whatsoever until about 4 weeks ago, the new memory was put in 7 weeks ago. The system has been overclocked in some way throughout the time i have had it.

Back again as i just had another BSOD after thinking that i had it sorted. This time the message stated IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.

The thing is it only happens during games, and almost exclusively in Bad Company 2, however it just happened in the Battlefield 3 beta. I have played numerous other games this month with no problem.
It always happens after about 20 minutes of a game.
All temps are fine as well.

I tested the ram with memtest and removed the OC. I didn't test the ram for very long though, probably about 4 hours each stick.

Any advice would be appreciated

Thank you.
