Still worth getting a 360?

Hi guys, not really into gaming these days but i'm interested in getting an Xbox 360 - i've got a HD tele at the moment but most of my stuff is on the PC so it's hassle getting to watch it on there. I'm thinking I could use the Xbox 360 to stream it, and it'd also be there when i've got a few mates round etc...

I've seen a brand new one on the bay for £255, the premium system, the HD player and 3 games. Worth it?

Everybody will say yes, but I'd say no!!

Unless it's brought from a highstreet shop, I wouldn't touch one...
 
If you only want to stream/won't need a hard drive a core is only £150 (the joy of choice eh? *pokes sony*).
 
Hmm, I guess I could use the HDD for storing the streamed stuff on? What about the HD DVD player - is that any good?

Also it makes sense to pay the extra £25, get the one off eBay with the 3 games and HD DVD player...

Get on, had my since Dec 2005 still going strong and had the BEST gaming experience ever on my 360, online is aweomse, GoW, TDU, PGR3, PES6 and now Forza 2
 
if its what you want to buy , buy it

been from ebay wont matter aslong as its new , afaik you can just send it too MS if anything goes wrong anyway
 
personaly I'd buy one from a highstreet shop, that way it's much easier to get replaced "when" it breaks :rolleyes:

It's a great console with a good library of games available now but it still has an annoying number of failures.
