Stitching videos together

Hey guys,

Having a nightmare here. Got a few m4v's I need to join together, I tried VisualHub, but it just always gives me errors despite doing the Lion update. Apparently iMovie can do it but no idea how and it takes so long to import files

Are there any free tools that do this, without leaving a watermark or some other restriction

Quicktime can do it.

1. Open up the first file in Quicktime
2. Edit > Add clip to end
3. Repeat
4. Export

AVIDemux, MPEG StreamClip or FFmpeg should all be able to join MP4s together without any loss in quality as long as you "copy" the audio and video.

Btw, FFmpeg is a command-line program and needs to be run via Terminal.

FFmpegX has a gui and works well, use it to join avi's together. However can only join two files in one go though

If you are going to spend money for an app, you might as well get the arguably better iFFmpeg (€10) instead of ffmpegX ($15).
