The long awaited Define R2 case is reaching new heights in combining stylish, contemporary design with maximum functionality and noise absorbing features. The minimalistic, yet stunning front panel design, fitted with noise absorbing material on the inside, creates an aura of exclusivity.
The patent pending feature ModuVent™, in which you can choose whether to have side and top panels open or not, makes the case appealing for users seeking optimal silence, as well as the performance hungry ones.
The sleek black interior is matched with pre-fitted, dense bitumen material on the side panels, efficiently absorbing noise and vibrations. You can fit an astonishing total of eight(!) hard drives into this case, using the user friendly HDD-trays. All painted in a nice white color and using black silicone mounts.

just been reading som reviews they say that

1 the door does not open fully and only opens 90 degrees ?
2 herd the paint job on them are not to good very thin ?
3 no reset button ?

is this all true

mmm fractal must have changed that as a review said it was only 90 degrees thats good to know.

i suppose if the computer could not be reset yuou could just hohld the power button in.

how did you hook up your hd light did you use it as the power button or did you not use the hd light ?

Seems lame for me, no clear side panel.
Only 80ml fan slots.....
Rather pay the money for an antec 900 or 1200 case.

Thw whole basis of the case is silence. A windowed panel deafeats the point of this and allows noise to escape from the case.

This case comes with 120mm pre-fitted, you can upgrade to 140mm fans. So where has the 80mm fan slots idea come from?
