Basically I am looking for a very simple stock control/inventory system, either web based or on a database to do the following :
1. Be able to add stock with a reference as to where it came from and cost price
2. If an item is booked on more than once, an average cost is calculated to keep stock cost accurate
3. When an item is sold, it can be removed from the system and can add a note of cost price and customer (not necessary but would help) , most important is that the stock is removed in real time
4. Possible to access from 5/6 PCs on the same network as once
I think this should be a pretty simple thing to do , either using access database or web based language?
Need something like this desperately, have posted in the Windows forum a few days ago but think it would be best off in here
