Hi folks,

Just a quick question, more out of curiosity than a "need to know", but do factory-clocked high end cards (I'm thinking 8800GTX here) come with better coolers than their vanilla non-clocked counterparts? And if not, is investment in an after market cooler a worthwhile investment?

Thanks in advance

GG

All the coolers are the same as far as i know, theres only EVGA who us their own which are different, but thats only for their KO ASC3 SILENT range, their normal GTX has the same cooler as all the rest, factory overclocked or stock.

I wouldn't bother with an aftermarket cooler personally, as the standard one does a cracking job, and its very quiet, and you can overlock fine with the standard.

Ah thank you very much for the response :)

I was wondering what ACS3 meant. It's only when you wrote that, that I went back for another look and noticed the different cover on the card.

Thanks again!
