Stock image sites

Hi all,

I am currently building a new site and i just wanted to double check something regarding stock images on the web. I have recently signed up for a big stock account and purchased a few images i like. Am i ok to use these images on my website under a standard license? The image is only being used once as a main slider image.

Just wanted to check the legality of this before i go ahead and start using them.

They usually define how you can use the images on the site somewhere.

The main restriction I have found is to use them for commercial purposes.

i'm afraid its very much a case of read the licence terms on the site, the fact that you've purchased them would generally suggest you have some sort of rights to use them, but exactly what will be down to the site.
