Hi all,

Im putting together a PC from bits and pieces I have lying around. I'll installing a Sandybridge Celeron processor on a motherboard and want to use the stock Intel cooler. Ive used this for about 3 days before and I'm just wondering what to do with the paste/strips of compound in it? Should I clear it off? or is it ok to use again as is?

heres what im on about

Apply a small rice grain sized blob in the center of the CPu heatspreader and the clamping force of the cooler will spread it around for you.
